BLEND / COLOR: 100% Malbec, Red / Brilliant ruby with purple tones.
PALATE/BOUQUET: A malbec with its own style. At a first glance, shows a deep, saturated violet color with a blackish hue. The nose presents a wide array of dark berry fruits with notes of delicate violets flowers and a subtle and light oaky backtaste giving this wine great complexity. The mouthfeel is full and unctuous, with excellent weight and supple texture. The lengthy finish shows wonderful minerality, with finely grained tannins and lively acidity. Pairs well with red meats, pasta with spicy sauces, and mature cheeses.
WINE DETAILS:
3.6 pH, 2.68 g/L Res. Sugar, 14.4% Alcohol by Vol.
REGION NOTES: This artisan wine was 100% organically grown at over 3000 Ft. above sea level in Mendoza, Argentina on the Caligiore Vineyards. The grapes are from a single old vineyard established in Luján de Cuyo with vines planted in 1930.
